The sesame paste we know as Tahini is the perfect ingredient for making any salad creamy without adding cheese, and it makes for a flavorful dressing that happens to be packed with nutrients. This spicy Tahini dressing is perfect on seasonal vegetables, greens and grilled meat and poultry. Try it on tonight’s salad, add it to a wrap or even a veggie burger!
1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce)
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1/2 teaspoon of Sirachi
black pepper to taste
Blend the tahini, olive oil, water, tamari, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, siracha and black pepper together in a blender until smooth. Keeps in jar for up to two weeks. Be certain to shake before drizzling on salads, roasted vegetables in and grilled meats.
