Buying all organic fruits and vegetables can be challenging on a budget but there are certain items that healthy lifestyle website, deems essential.  Some of these items might be found at a better price at a CSA or a large discount store like Trader Joes. There is always great berry picking on the North Fork of Long Island and many farms let you pick your own. This is a great way to keep the health of your family and your wallet intact and enjoy the outdoors.

Essentials: Apples, celery, strawberries, peaches, spinach, nectarines, grapes, sweet bell peppers, potatoes, blueberies, lettuce, kale/collard greens as well as milk, meat, cheese and yogurt.
